A few days ago, I made this thread, in which I asked for advice on what camera I should choose out of the Fuji X-T3 and Sony A7III.Most of the replies suggested the former of the two cameras due to the full frame of the latter not being worth the extra money relative to the cost of the former and due to the latter not supporting 10-bit video The one build into the Fuji X-T2 is a 24-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III sensor. This means that Fujifilm put their most advanced APS-C sensor into this camera. This should result in great image quality as we came to expect from Fuji cameras, but we will know for sure after we test it Anyone who's picked up a Fujifilm X-series camera within the last 3 years will be hard-pressed to say they didn't enjoy the experience, and while the images could be a little flat (to some eyes) the sensor in the X-Pro2 and X-T2 doesn't seem to suffer with the same affliction. Either way, Fuji JPEGs do have a sort of signature look to them that has garnered lots of attention and praise The reason for it is that: 1) It has f2 aperture vs the 3.5 on the 15-45 (no OIS though) 2) It's half the price of the Mighty 16. 3) It's extremely compact. Now, number 3 is a huge factor for me. Most of my travelling is carry-on backpacking where I need the lens to be super light and small, so the pancake like features of the 18mm are appealing Versatility.
